Make the sample answer a buying question

  1. Define the reference.

Identify the intended sport and competition level. Specify paddle dimensions and target weight with units; ask the supplier to state achievable values and an agreed measurement method. Product images do not establish construction.

  2. Check the pairing.

Review a paddle and cover together if fit matters. Note handle clearance, zipper access, lining and decoration placement. A cover offered for a similar shape still needs confirmation against your selected item.

  3. Record the decision.

Assign an approver for artwork, physical sample and packing. Keep unresolved questions visible before discussing production timing; samples and documents must correspond to the quoted configuration.

Prepare the order brief →

Different orders need different briefs

Club equipment

Separate shared-use paddles from individual branded items. Describe play environment, grip expectations and replacement needs without assuming a retail performance claim applies.

Retail assortment

Allocate pieces by paddle and cover variant. Confirm retail labels, individual packaging and carton dimensions before comparing delivered costs.

Event packs

List the contents of one set and identify artwork approval dates. Decorative suitability does not establish approval for a particular competition.

Compare the complete purchase

A lower piece price may exclude artwork setup, covers or freight. Match construction, quantity basis, pack ratio and destination before choosing an offer. A high-end, mid-range or budget supplier preference helps explain your priorities; it does not certify a supplier.

Availability, quotation and timing require supplier confirmation. Read the sourcing method or procurement brief before submitting.
