Club and facility equipment
Describe intended sport and competition level, surface or play environment, and how paddles will be issued or stored. Identify whether covers are assigned individually or packed separately. Ask the proposed supplier to confirm material and construction, dimensions and weight with units; no player outcome is inferred from the material name.
For competition use, ask the buyer’s reviewer which applicable requirements need evidence for that exact paddle. A generic product-family document does not settle eligibility.
Retail assortment
Build quantities by artwork, paddle configuration and cover option. Separate an individual paddle from a set containing a cover or other accessories. Request individual pack dimensions, carton dimensions and pack ratio, then normalize unit prices to that same scope.
Ask whether the sample includes the intended logo treatment and retail label. An undecorated sample can inform shape review while leaving artwork placement and finish unresolved.
Corporate and event distribution
Identify the artwork owner, print area and proof approval route before discussing production timing. If the main objective is a branded gift, say so; if the paddle is intended for play, record those requirements separately. Event timing is a requested destination date, not an assumed lead time.
A budget option may simplify packaging while a high-end preference may seek a more elaborate cover. Compare what changes rather than assuming either tier carries a verified supplier rating.
